The Heart Behind Elk Ridge Furnishings
Elk Ridge Furnishings was born from a lifetime spent in the outdoors, a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, and a desire to help others create homes filled with warmth, beauty, and lasting memories.
I grew up in the northwoods of Michigan, where towering pines, quiet lakes, and crisp autumn air were part of everyday life. Those woods weren’t just scenery — they shaped who I am. They taught me to appreciate the natural world, to slow down, and to find meaning in simple moments spent around a fire, walking a logging trail, or at a family hunting cabin.

That love for the outdoors followed me all the way to Colorado, where I now live, work, and raise my family. Up in the beautiful rocky mountains is a ridge I’ve hunted for years — a place where I've encountered elk more often than not, a place where I find peace and feel recharged. Over time, my brother and I started calling it Elk Ridge, and it became the inspiration for this company.
